Exploring the Creative Process: Capturing Nature's Beauty through Digital Design
Creating art is a journey that can take on many forms, and for some, it's all about experimenting with images and taking designs beyond their limits. For those who have a passion for photography and digital design, it can be a thrilling experience to bring their vision to life. For me as a designer I love to take photos of nature, particularly flowers, and manipulate them to create new and unique designs.
PHOTOGRAPHIC DESIGNS
Hosta's, Sunflowers, Daisies, Foxgloves, and Cone flowers are some of my favourite subjects. I’m passionate about nature photography and close-up techniques, evident in many of my designs. Following digital manipulation of these photos, often new amazing work comes forth. It’s always thrilling when almost by accident something truly unique and stunning is born. The process starts by immersing myself in the moment, taking the photo, and then delving into the digital realm to see what else can emerge.
At this point the creative journey for these designs has only just began as I often place them on various products to make them easily accessible to a broad range of people. From canvas prints to art prints, wall murals, and tapestries, there are endless possibilities for displaying the beauty of nature through digital design.
The most important aspect of my creative process is the potential impact that my work may have on others. My intention is to uplift and inspire people through the images created. It's a beautiful thing when someone connects with my work so deeply that they buy it. It's even more fulfilling to know that the art will be enjoyed for years to come.
In summary, the creative process for me is a journey of capturing nature's beauty, immersing myself in the moment, and digitally manipulating images to create new and unique designs. My intention is that this process brings joy to both myself as the artist and those who resonate with my work and the beauty of nature and art.
